We have three super duper themed Clubs for your child to enjoy as part of their Treasure Trail experience.

Perfect for 4-8 year olds, the concept behind the Clubs is that your child will get a bundle of goodies to excite them about their forthcoming Trail experience, something to keep them entertained whilst travelling to and from the Trail, and something to be given on completion of the Trail as a keepsake.

Before you set off on your awesome adventure, there are a few things you need to know...

Unfortunately, the route isn’t friendly for wheelchair users due to steps along the route as well as a short, steep section. However, those with pushchairs should find this manageable, as there are alternative paths for bypassing the steps.

Bring your four-legged friends along! Please note that there are some short sections of the on pavements along quiet streets, and so may require dogs to be on leads.

The closest long stay pay and display car park to the Trail start point is at St John Shopping Centre (PR1 1FB), just a minute walk away. Or why not try Preston’s fantastic Park and Ride service?

There are some fantastic events in Preston’s calendar, all of which are great times to visit this historical city. However, you may find that some of the clues on this Trail may become obstructed or difficult to access on these occasions. If you would like further information about event dates, please contact Preston Visitor Information.

There are chances to stock up on snacks or stop for refreshments at the start, as well as a café, public toilets and a perfect picnic spot in the park near Clue 12.

Why not make a day of it and take a peek inside the Lancashire Infantry Museum or the Harris Museum, Art Gallery and Library to uncover more of what Preston has to offer? Or, take some time to explore further into the many parks with their stunning scenery.
